Any person who can fulfill the requirements of the Grade syllabi is eligible to appear for the exam. A person can take on any Grade Examination if he feels he is fit to satisfy the exam conditions. However, a person once registered to the examination has to follow the Grades serially, i.e., a person is allowed to register for any Grade as his first examination, but hence forth he must compulsorily take all following Grades. See the example below. Example: Jane has been learning Indian Classical Instrument Sitar from a learning facility in Toronto. She feels she has enough knowledge to satisfy Grade 4 exam conditions. She enters the examination system by registering for Grade 4. She takes up Grade 4 examination in July and then gradually keeps passing each Grade (Grade 5, 6, 7...) step by step every 3 months.
