SWARGRAM STUDY PLAN
Learning is always fun,
you are a better person each day. Learning may not always be in full loads
in a formal set-up, it can be in small regular sessions over a period. Keep
adding a little to your repertoire and after some time you would feel that
you have achieved a lot subconsciously. SwarGram's unique study plan helps
you achieve this feat.
CORE LEARNING SYSTEM - Offline Study
- DL MODULES:
The grade syllabus is taught by our faculty through these DL modules. Take
up a lesson by singing with the teacher or practicing alone with a
practice track. The teacher teaches you line by line. Each lesson has a well
defined achievement goal and a corresponding set of assignment. After you
have learned a lesson, you can record your assignment and upload to the
school server from the online classroom. The teacher hears the recording
and sends you his/her remarks. The teacher also records corrections in
his/her voice to tell you where you are wrong. Learning singing is
actually this simple.
- 30 MINUTE LIVE
INTERACTION WITH TEACHER: Our vocal students get 20 hours
real-time interaction with the teacher in each grade level. These 10 hours
are divided into 20 sessions of 30 minutes each, equally spaced over the
year, making about two classes a month. These classes can be scheduled as
per student's convenience of time. You learn a quick lesson or fine tune
what you have learned so far in real-time, you have an instant solution.
ENHANCED LEARNING SYSTEM - The online
classroom activity
Many times you learn from
indirect and informal methods. Many a times they prove to be great learning
catalysts. Your online classroom provides many such learning tools and
activities that help you in picking the slightest of details that you might
have missed otherwise.
-
Listening sessions: Listen to great performers like Pt. Jasraj and
renowned educators like Shri Ginde, from our archival recordings and share
your thoughts with your teacher and peers in this collaborative activity.
It's like visiting a concert with your friends and discussing the
performance. A great learning tool - isn't it?
-
Interactive Assignments: Khayal Gayaki is all about improvisation. It has
been observed that most students of Indian classical music tend to look
for notated music or sing by memory (performance material prepared after
hours of riyaz). Here you get to attend very interesting and thought
provoking sessions designed by our smart teachers. We call them
interactive assignments as they involve use of multimedia and problem
solving methods to stimulate your brain, making you a thinking musician.
-
Improvement Tips: Our smart teachers are never satisfied. This is what
research is all about. Whenever they feel they have a tip or a suggestion
they post it up for you here. So you keep receiving tips on vocal
warm-ups, increasing vocal range, or simply tips on avoiding to sound
nasal.
