Innovation is the key. Me as a teacher and you as a
student are together here to create and then enjoy our creativity. Like
a pure lover of Khayal Gayaki, I like creation, I like to build on my
current knowledge not just by learning through resources, but by
contributing to the resources by my own brain power, knowledge base and
creative skills. This my USP.

Singing needs to be
clear, melodious and emotional. I as a teacher communicate to my
students the importance of emoting through singing. Often students try
to learn too much, and so much that they get busy in accumulating
resources, and in the processes ignoring the true essence of music.
Music is about communicating to yourself and to others in the most
artistic way. So, I tell my students to be simple, and sing simply to
convey most complicated of emotions.

Riyaz, my
success mantra. One can not achieve perfection without riyaz. And for a
performer, to be a perfectionist is like a heart to a life. But most
students understand riyaz in terms of quantity, like number of hours or
number of exercises. I have a different and a firm opinion - a very
strict, quality practice routine, reviewed periodically followed by
regular result assessments. My students are ardent riyazis.
