Ustad Gulshan Bharti became her mentor and helped her realize new realms of knowledge. She learned from him the nuances of Lucknow Gharana of Khayal Gayaki and groomed herself to be a much-in demand performer, after seven long years of hardship.

She effortlessly reveals her grasp of technique with a firm reflection of versatility, bundled with loads of emotion, in her rendition. She understands the raags as one would understand a friend. The striking feature of her singing is the way she uses her perfectly trained voice to render taans and perform layakari. She has performed in numerous prestigious venues; Lucknow Mahotsav ad Rang Mahotsav being the most memorable ones. She has a natural penchant for teaching as she communicates well with her students; therefore she is an integral part of SwarGram's vocal faculty. She has taken up several prominent teaching assignments in form of workshops, and lecture demonstration in various schools and colleges. Her artistic abilities as a performer have been recognized by organizations like All India Radio, Indian Council of Cultural Relation and various television channels. She is also in the process of recording an album.
